No. Convergia does not have any sign up fees, monthly fees or minimum usage.

Can I get a calling card and is there an additional fee?

The website current does not support calling card sign up. Calling Cards are available by calling Customer Care. What are the rates?: If customers dial the toll free number, the rate is 10.9 cents per minute. If the customer dials a local access number from Convergia's list of cities in Canada, the rate is 4.9 cents per minute.

Can I order a toll free number?

Yes. You can order a toll free number to be added to your account by contacting Convergia customer service. Same rates as with outbound long distance. Convergia does not offer stand-alone toll free only accounts.
